A detailed Life Cycle Assessment has been carried out by EUNOMIA in 2021 taking into account all aspects of HippoTile production and finding significant savings in terms of carbon emissions in this way of disposing of unwanted waste plastic compared with the current best other way of disposing of it. It has concluded that 1 ton of carbon emissions is saved for every 45m2 HippoTile used. The total carbon emissions generated by a building project are also greatly reduced by using HippoTile instead of concrete. HippoTile can be removed easily and continuously recycled by the manufacturer. |
