COST COMPARISON BETWEEN CONCRETE AND HippoTile cont.
EXPLANATORY NOTES ON CALCULATIONS

Concrete Costing

We used £233 per cubic metre as the current price of concrete. In the example this included delivery, although depending on location this could be more. Vehicles which deliver concrete can only access hard standing so additional transportation may be required.

Good preparation is vital to laying a concrete slab that will stand the test of time. This includes removing topsoil, replacing with compacted aggregate, waterproof membrane and framework. These are labour intensive and are included in our costing.
